Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and a brief discussion on the trip (1,300m/4,264 ft.)
Welcome to Nepal, the Land of Himalayas! Upon your arrival, our representative from Himalayan Traverse will welcome you to the airport and take you to your respective hotel. As it is the first day, we will make you a brief introduction to your trip and your guide/s too. In the evening we will host a welcome dinner offering typical Nepalese cuisine in one of the finest Nepalese Restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast in the morning, we start small sightseeing in Kathmandu in the three famous UNESCO World heritage enlisted sites: “Pashupatinath Temple” the biggest temple for Hindus, “Swayambhunath Stupa” also known as the monkey temple which is one of the famous religious stupas for Buddhists and “Boudhanath Stupa” the biggest Stupa in Nepal located in Kathmandu. After this short visit to religious sites, we make early preparations for our trip and make sure everything is okay. Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (823m/2,700 ft.): 6-7 hrs drive
Today as the first day of our trek, we drive to Pokhara, the city of Lakes. With a tourist bus, traveling to Pokhara will be quite satisfying as the Nepalese landscapes will never bore you. As we reach Pokhara by the end of the day, we go to our hotel in Pokhara. An evening walk by the Lakeside could be a wonderful thing to do.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi: 40 min, and trek to Pothana: 4 hrs walk
Early in the morning, we make a short drive to Phedi. Then starts our walk. We walk through the Dhampus, where some vegetation and forest can be seen on the way. This leads us to Pothana, where we will be staying for tonight.
Day 05 : Trek to Ghandruk, 6-7 hrs walk
Today we will walk for Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village in the Annapurna region. Gurung culture and the beauty of the place are definitely going to fascinate you. We make our way to Ghandruk crossing rivers, ups and downs in hills, and passing by the smiling faces of locals. We can see the magnificent views of the Himalayas including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre from Ghandruk. Overnight at GHandruk
Day 06 : Trek to Tadapani, 4 hrs walk
Today we are going to pass from Ghandruk to Tadapani. The ascend will take us few hours. We can various teahouses on our way and the flora and faunas too. We then reach Tadapani, where we can find the closest views of Mount. Fishtail and the Annapurna Range. Overnight at Tadapani.
Day 07: Trek to Ghorepani, 5-6 hrs walk
Today will be an uphill climb for us with ascend of the Ulleri village with an amazing Himalayan landscape. We make our way through the lush forests of rhododendron and oak. And finally, we reach Ghorepani from where we can see the magnificent view of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range view. Overnight at Ghorepani.
Day 08: Trek to Tatopani via Poonhill (3,210m/10,531ft), 6-7 hrs walk
Early in the morning, we hike to Poon Hill. From the top, you can see the amazing sunrise over the Himalayas and panoramic view of Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and the Himalayas in Dolpo too. After spending a good time in Poon Hill we descend back to Ghorepani and trek to Tatopani, our stop for tonight. Overnight at Tadapani.
Day 09: Trek to Galeshowor, 6-7 hrs walk
We walk to Galeshwor through the trail down to the Kaligandaki River. We can see fields and vegetation down on our way. This makes the trip more interesting. Then we finally reach Galeshwor, where we also visit the Shiva Mandir, the town, and people. Overnight at Galeshwor.
Day 10: Drive to Pokhara, 4-5 hrs drive
Today we drive towards Pokhara which takes just a couple of hours. At the evening we enjoy the view at the lakeside of Pokhara and make ourselves ready for tomorrow’s flight back to Kathmandu. We simply relax today for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu: 30 min flight
As today we have to fly back to Kathmandu, we wake up early in the morning and make our early flight in Kathmandu. During the day you could take rest or buy yourself some souvenirs. On the occasion of our successful trip, there will be a dinner conducted by us in the evening.
Day 12: Final departure
Today we will be biding you farewell. We will be hoping that you will come back to Nepal again for another adventurous trip. We will take you to the International airport some hours before the scheduled flight and finally, you will depart back for your homeland!

The festival was incredible and the mountains are magnificent. Dorjee is a great guide and we really enjoyed staying at his Buddha lodge and meeting his wonderful family.
