Manaslu Circuit Trek:-
(Mt. Kuntung in Tibet)Manasalu with the meaning the Mountain Of Spirit in the Sanskrit language located in the North Himalayan Region-Gorkha District(where Gorkhalis reside who made history) of Nepal in the ridges of Mansiri Himal. Only one in existence Breathtaking scenario and the extreme adventure would make it a no brainer for the thrill-seekers. One of unexplored as started from 1992. (40 miles East of Annapurna) surrounded by Ngadi Chuli, Himaclhli & Baudha. Parts of the trek falls beyond the Himalayan Range called Tsum. Ensuring the spectacular view of Manaslu, thru Hindu & Tibetan Style villages on the foot baseline of Manasalu(North Face). Homestay ensures the print of the culture(Tamang, Gurung, Sherpa mostly Mongols(Buddhists) originally on Horse trade). The pages turned after the 1st ascent by Toshi Imanishi & Gyalzen Norbu(A Japanese Expedition). The challenging route encounters landslide-prone areas, and potent numbers in altitude. As in Tibet-Nepal Border has also been an alternative to Annapurna Circuit and one of the most preferred Tourist Sites.
Starting alongside the Budhi Gandaki River roams around and climbs towards the region known as Nupri. Another attraction is Pungyen Gumba(Monastery-Buddhist temple)-4,400m.
General Temperature: -10 to 20 celsius. We recommend warmer clothes regardless of the season you travel. This Trek has a flawless balance of Nepali culture and mountain scenery.

We set off early today for Sotikhola. Drive, with a view(Nepalese countryside nearly uncountable mountain sceneries). Driving on a paved road from Kathmandu - Dhading Bensi(district headquarter of Dhading)but the drive from Dhanding Bensi - Arughat is to be expected a little rough road. Being ArughatImajor town of the region) drive further to Sotikhola. Overnight in Soti Khola.
Day 04: Maccha Khola [900m/2952 ft.]: 6 - 7 hrs.
At the crossing of the bridge, we walk through the beautiful forests of Sal, & then up the hills above the majestic Budhi Gandaki cliffs. We then reached Khursane where a rocky trail descends, skipping two hot waterfalls on a rocky outcrop that clings to the edge of a cliff. Eventually, it descends & passes a few rice fields, then ascends around the town of Gurung of Labubesi. We continue to climb after the catastrophic flood, which opens the valley & the Budhi Gandaki meadows among the wide stone barriers. We fall on a sandy river bed, rolling in circles before crossing a steep slope. We also go down to the river & cross another stop bridge to reach Machha Khola village. Overnight at Machha Khola.
Day 05: Jagat [1,410m/ 4,625 ft.]: 6 - 7 hrs
The narrow trail makes a small incline & down & finally crosses Tharo Khola & reaches Chorlabesi. After a few hikes & hikes, we meet a small Hotspring in Tatopani. From the hot spring, we cross another hill, & cross the Buddha Gandaki on the suspension bridge. This time, we ascend a steep, well-built stairway, crossing the ridge of the earth & crossing the ridge to Dobhan. As we cross the suspension bridge over Yaru Khola, we climb the stone steps & then cross the river & climb the additional stone steps to Thar Bharyang. We cross the western shore of Budhi Gandaki, climb a steep hill, walk along a river, & head for the village of Jagat. Overnight in Jagat.
Day 06: Deng [1,804m/5,917 ft.]: 6 - 7 hrs
We begin our journey today by climbing a rocky outcrop to Salleri & disembarking at Sirdibas. The valley grows slowly as the route continues to reach Ghatta Khola. We continue down the river to the long suspension bridge at Pilim, the main town of Gurung. The route turns northward above the lowest house in the village & remains the same route as it crosses the orchards to Ekle Bhatti. The trail now enters a large, uninhabited canyon. At this point, we descend on the grassy slopes of the earth, cross the Buddha Gandaki, then walk along the west coast for a while, then cross the eastern bank, & return again. Crossing the Kola, we reach the small village of Deng. Overnight in Deng.
Day 07: Namrung [2,630m/8,626ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
After a short walk across Deng, we cross the Buddha Gandaki & climb to Rana in 1910m. From the bridge, we slowly climb to join the trail from Bhi, then head west up the Budhi Gandaki valley. The trail also passes through forests & mani where we turn into a corner overlooking the Ghap. Or there is another route, we take the route through the village of Prok. The town of Prok has a spectacular view of the Himal Circuit. We continue to cross the Budi Gandaki many times today & meet many gompas along the way. The trail follows the river above & beyond the river in a dense forest. After crossing the river in a beautiful place where a small gorge thunders, the forest is dense & the trail is ready again. The fun ride continues & after climbing the last ridge we reach Namrung. Overnight in Namrung.
Day-08: Samagaon [3,530m/11,578 ft.]: 6-7 hrs.
The village of Namrung is a beautiful view of Siring & Ganesh Himal & from the village, one can see Mt. Himal Chuli south. We climbed steeply through the jungle to Lihi, a picturesque village with many hens & barley fields. The trail crosses & crosses the adjacent Simnang Himal valley & the Ganesh Himal at all times nearby. We continue through the villages of Sho, Lho, & Shyala before reaching Sama Village. We enjoy more views of Mt. Manaslu from Lho village also explores the famous Ribung Gompa. In the village of Syala we are surrounded by high mountains such as the Himal Chuli & Peak 29 (Ngadi Chuli) on the left, Manaslu & large glaciers on the right, & other glaciers on the right, & finally the Ganesh Himal. Today's trip ends in Samagaon where we sleep.
Day-09: Samagaon & to Pungyen gompa, Retrace Samagaon: 6 - 7 hrs. exploration
We spend the day in Samagaon relaxing & getting used to it. Today, we are familiar with the rich tradition of the Sherpa. We are thrilled to see thousands of statues with inscriptions & images of Buddhists & women of Sherpa in traditional dress & ornaments. On a small hill near the Sama village is the ancient Gompa (Pungyen Gompa), a monastery with beautiful views of the snow. Named Manaslu, Pungyen means bracelet, a good description of the two peaks. It was destroyed a year after Japan's first unsuccessful attempt to climb Manaslu. The locals believe the ascent has angered the gods, & when the Japanese returned a year later they met with strong opposition to stop their efforts. They finally succeeded in 1959. Overnight in Samagaon.
Day 10: Samdo [3,860m/12,660 ft.]: 4 - 5 hrs.
Descend Budhi Gandaki River, which turns north & follow the bridge over the river. Leading to the Manaslu Base camp(Larkya la Trail passes) thru several men’s walls as the valley begins to expand. It is easy access to a river above the river that passes through the juniper & birch forests of Kermo Kharka. Down to the shelf, we go cross-Buddha Gandaki on a wooden bridge & climb to a higher elevation between the two forks of the river. From the price of stones, we can see a large white can. Finally we pass Samdo. Overnight in Samdo.
Day 11:Samdo Rest Day
This is another day set aside for proper practice. There are two options for us today. The option we recommend is to go up, up the valley directly behind the village of Samdo. This increase will take us to some of the business transit to Tibet to get some good ideas about Mt. Manlulu & other Himalayan tribes include Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Larkye Peak, Che, & Kang Guru in the background. On the way to this view, we pass many seasonal herds called doxas & see other beautiful mountain birds such as Lophophorus (Nepal's national bird), Lammergeyer, & Himalayan Griffin. Another modern route would be a trip to Gya La ('great crossing') north of Samdo, the busiest trade route to Tibet. However, this is a long walk (all day) which is why it can be a little stressful. Overnight in Samdo.
Day 12: Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4,460m/14, 628 ft.]: 4 - 5 hrs.
To this day, we continue our journey across the ridge, crossing the Budi Gandaki wooden bridge, & start climbing. When we cross two streams & see the Larkya Glacier around the Salka Khola valley then ascend to the stone lodge (4450 m), which is not a residence but a type of shelter called Dharmshala, also known as Larke Phedi. A short walk today also leaves a lot to be desired in the afternoon. Overnight in Dharmashala.
Day 13: Larkya la [5,160m/16, 924 ft.] - Bimthang [3720m/12, 201 ft.]: 8 - 9 hrs.
After a short hike, we reach the valley north of Larkya Glaciers where we can enjoy a beautiful view of Cho Danda & Larkya Peak. Finally, we walk through the snow moraines, making a slow climb only to the end of the earth's crust. From time immemorial, there are outstanding views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru, & the great Annapurna II. It is farther away than usual at Bimtang, but the entrance to these lowlands & the fog of night enters with Mt. Mananaslu getting close to you is an amazing experience. Overnight at Bimthang.
Day 14: Tilije [2,300m/7,544ft]: 5 - 6 hrs.
From the beach in Bimthang, we can enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal, & Cheo Himal. We continue down & cross the steep pasture (Sangure Kharka) followed by a bridge over Dudh Khola. We travel through the rhododendron forest & follow the trail through a small valley until we reach the heavily cultivated village of Karche, 2785 meters. We pass the fields before going up the hill. The trail exits the line with a large arc, sweeping the river bank at 2580m. A short distance beyond the city of Gho. Due to yesterday's fatigue, we can rest in Gho but better accommodation is available in Tilije, so we recommend staying in Tilije. Overnight in Tilije Village.
Day 15: Tal [1,700m/5,576 ft.]: 5 - 6 hrs.
We climb a steep hill & enjoy a paved pavement through the picturesque valley. Then we crossed the bridge over Dudh Khola & up the chorten-like mountain, past the mani wall to Thononje village. In the village, we pass the police checkpoint & continue on to Dharapani. We entered the Annapurna region from Dharapani. Below that, we come to the village of Karte & after a short walk we cross a bridge over Marshyangdi Khola. We also meet some walls before reaching the village of Tal, at the foot of a huge waterfall. Overnight at Tal.
Day 16: Syange [1,080m/3,542 ft.]: 6 - 7 hrs.
We follow the route to Chyamje village through Marshyangdi Khola again. The village of Marsyandi opens up with its own library camps & the villages cling to the hills. The trail then descends with rhododendron & pine forests to Syange. Overnight in Syange.
Day 17: Drive Kathmandu: 8-9 hrs.
Driving from Syange to Kathmandu via Besi Sahar gives one a chance to enjoy the beauty of the hills & mountains. Driving is usually on the banks of the Marsyangdi & Trishuli rivers. We also travel through some beautiful villages with farmland on both sides of the road. A day in Kathmandu can be spent on leisure or maybe we get a last-minute purchase. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today we will be biding your farewell. Hoping we get to see you back in Nepal again as a family for another adventurous trip. We will take you to the International airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight & finally, you will depart back for your homeland!
Overnight in Kathmandu.
