About Trip:

Nar Phu Valley Tek:-

A pleasant trip to the wild & untested area north of Annapurna, this amazing & wild trip takes us to the unusual & picturesque valley of Nar Phu. The Nar Phu Valley trek starts from Jagat following the famous Annapurna Circuit & then from Koto following the track to the village of Nar Phu north of Manang & passing through Kang La with the magnificent panorama of the Annapurna rivers. The passing of Kang La connects Nar & Manang with three other cities in Botia in Neyshang village. The above circuit plan opens up a vast area with high snow, ancient villages & high pastures. Entering this hidden mountain valley offers ancient Tibetan culture in an uninterrupted way, beautiful views of the mountains & beautiful mountain plains. We then headed west over Thorong La Pass down the Mustang below before heading to Jomsom. Finally, we headed back to Pokhara & returned to Kathmandu the next day.

Day-01: Step on Kathmandu(1,350M./4,429FT.)

From 1st step off to the land of Nepal, Completing our mandatory custom Formalities -Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Himalayan Traverse representative excited full of joy for you at the gate who will lead us to Hotel.  Rest of the day taking rest to get recharged after the tiredness of the long flight.

Day-02: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SIGHTSEEING(1,350M./4,429FT.)

4-landmarks, 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Visit with a Professional Licensed Person helping you know Kathmandu even deep historically. (Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath)- Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, & Kathmandu Durbar Square. With the knowledge gained we make you actually feel welcomed the Night as a part of a family with a warm Nepalese cuisine at a welcome dinner hosted by Himalayan Traverse after knowing the team & getting to know our guides in person.

Day-03: Drive Jagat (1100m/3608ft), 8-9 hrs.

We start our journey early in the morning as we walk a long way ahead of us. We start immediately after breakfast and leave Kathmandu at 7am. We see beautiful views of Nepal, greenery, rivers, villages, farms and mountainous areas along the way. After 8-10 hours. of the drive, we reach Jagat by Besishahar. Driving in Besishahar may be smooth due to the dark roads and behind Besishahar, the roads are dusty and bright but the beautiful view from our window is more than compensating for the hard riders. Overnight in Jagat.

Day-04: Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft), 7-8 hrs.

We start our journey early in the morning as we walk a long way ahead of us. We start immediately after breakfast and leave Kathmandu at 7am. We see beautiful views of Nepal's countryside, lush vegetation, rivers, villages, farms, and mountain roads along the way. After 8-10 hours. driving, we arrive in Jagat by Besishahar. Driving in Besishahar may be smooth due to the dark roads and behind Besishahar, the roads are dusty and bright but the beautiful view from our window is more than compensating for the hard riders. Overnight in Jagat.

Day-05: Koto (2,610m/8,563ft), 5-6 hrs.

 We start our morning trek to Bagarchhap which takes about an hour. passing through pine forests and cypresses. We can visit the white-collar palace in this city. After that, we continue our journey to Danaque which takes about an hour. The trail has climbed a steep slope to Time. We have a good idea about Mt. Manaslu & Peak 29 from here. Now the trail continues through the pine forests until Lalamarang takes about an hour and a half. We have lunch here and re-start the forests where we see Annapurna II. Finally, we arrive at Koto village. Overnight in Koto.

Day-06:Meta (3,560m/11,680ft), 7-8 hrs.

This morning, we are registering our restricted area permit at the Police Check Post. After that we cross the Soti Khola River through beautiful pine forests, streams, and stop at Dharmasala. We had our lunch on the way. After that we continued our journey through the forest and up the village of Meta. Finally, we reach the Tibetan Peninsula, where we have a spectacular view of the Annapurna II and the Lamjung Himal. Overnight in Meta.

Day-07: Phu Gaon (4,250m/13,944ft), 7-8 hrs.

We start our day by crossing up & down & crossing suspension bridges across various rivers. After four hours. on the way, we reach Kyang where we can see the remains, especially the fortresses of the city of Khampa (the place where the Khampa refugees from Tibet once captured and settled). We continue on our way through Phu Khola on a rocky road and finally reach the village of Phu for another three to four hours. Overnight in Phu Gaon.

Day-08: Phu Gaon Acclimatization

Today is a day set aside for practice when we are lifted up so that we can rest and get used to getting up. Living in a lost/hidden village, we can look at the culture, diversity, and religious practices of ethnic groups such as the Lama, the Gurung, and the Ghale here. Apart from this, we can find out how people make a living by going to agriculture, breeding animals, and occasionally moving to remote areas or hidden valleys. And it is a day for us to take a closer look at Tashi Lakhang Monastery - the Old Buddhist Monastery listed in 108 world monks; it should be the last palace built by Karmapa Rinpoche. In addition to exploring the cultural heritage of this lost village, the valley also gives us a beautiful view of the Himml Himal and other glaciers in the region. Overnight in Phu Gaon.

Day 09: Nar (4,110m/13,484ft), 6-7 hrs.

The route descended several streams and suspension bridges until Mahendra Pul took about four hours. We pass an 80m high suspension bridge over the Lapche River. We have lunch at Mahendra Pul. After lunch, the trail goes up past most Buddhists to Nar Village taking about two hours. We find many Buddhist monks here to visit along with the glorious splendor of Pisang Peak and other small peaks. Overnight at Nar.

Day 10: Nar Acclimatization & preparation

This is the second scheduled day of familiarity / relaxation for this trip. We spend the day taking a sightseeing tour and exploring the village of Nar and exploring the cultural way of life. We are also preparing for the trip the next day. Overnight at Nar.

Day 11: Nar-Kang La Pass (5,322m/17,460ft)-Ngwal (3,660m/12,008ft), 7-8 hrs.

Today is an amazing day and the height of a long day so we get up very early and head for the transfer of Kangla. By the way, we can see the Annapurna massif. We continue to Ngwal from there. Overnight in Ngwal.

Day 12: Manang (3,540m/11,614ft), 4-5 hrs.

From Ngwal, we are on our way to Manang today. We pass the lonely Paugh Valley looking at the beautiful views of the Annapurna list. After that we walk slowly to Mungli towards the Annapurna Trail in Mungli. We finally reached Manang, where we set up camp for the night. Overnight in Manang.

Day 13: Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft), 3-4 hrs.

From the village of Manang, the trail crosses the river, up the Tenki valley above Manang, then continues up the Marshyangdi River and then turns northwest up the Jarsang Khola River. The trail follows a valley to the north, passing a few pastures, a juniper tree, as it slowly rises. The route continues through the small town of Ghunsa, which is a slope below the road. Now the trail runs along pastures where horses and yaks graze. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, the trail passes through the old Mani wall into a beautiful pasture and then reaches the small village of Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak Kharka

Day 14: Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft), 3-4 hrs.

We are entering the footsteps of the world, Thong Phedi today. Thorong Phedi is a busy accommodation that caters for the needs of pedestrians and beginners. Traders like us use this concept as a starting point. Some tourists also try climbing mountains to the Great Camp today so that the next day will be easier for them. However, the leader of the Himalayan Traverse group does not advise this. A hard day tomorrow, stop at Thorong Phedi to sleep comfortably on the ground instead high ground at High Camp. Overnight at Thorong Phedi.

Day 15: Thorong La (5,416m/17764ft) to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft), 7-8 hrs.

Cross Thorong La Pass, another highlight. Icy high-altitude trail. Picturesque mountain vistas For the strenuous walk thru the trail. Reach Muktinath by sunset(pilgrimage site for both Hindus & Buddhists). Stroll around the area(Vishnu temple & a Monastery nearby). Overnight at Muktinath.

Day 16: Jomsom (2,715m/8,910ft): 5-6 hrs.

We start at the bottom of the Kali Gandaki River and cross the dry land. We pass through the villages of Jharkot and Kingar with typical Tibetan art. Following the village on the Kali Gandaki coast, we reach Jomsom. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 17: Pokhara Flight (823m/2,700ft), 30 min flight

Fly Pokhara. A scenic flight taking us thru the gorge of the 2 huge mountains(Annapurna & Dhaulagiri). On arrival at Pokhara airport, transferred to the lakeside hotel. Explore Pokhara Valley in the evening. Along the bank of Fewa Lake(the 2nd biggest lake of Nepal) while admiring the mountain view(Machhapuchhare). Go for a boat-ride in Fewa Lake Hike to the World Peace Pagoda. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 18: Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft), 5-6 hrs. drive

Today, after breakfast, we return to Kathmandu by car. After arriving in Kathmandu, we will be transferred to our hotel. You have no choice but to trade emails with the people you travel with and edit our photos. We can spend the night relaxing or maybe reach some of the shops at the last minute. Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY-19: FINAL DEPARTURE

Today we will be biding your farewell. Hoping we get to see you back in Nepal again as a family for another adventurous trip. We will take you to the International airport in 3  hrs. before the scheduled flight & finally, you will depart back for your homeland!
