Tsum Valley Trek HIghlights:-
Tsum Valley Trek:-
Discover the mysterious Tibetan Buddhist world lying on the edge of the most hidden Himalayan valleys. Tsum Valley is one of the most remote Himalayan regions in the world & has recently become a banned province. A trip to Tsum Valley takes you to the most beautiful places in the Ganesh Himal range, the Spring Himal, & the Boudha Himal. The region that was once part of Tibet looks completely different from what you will find elsewhere. The people of Tsum Valley or Tsuma are of Tibetan origin by their ancient forms of language, art, culture & religion. Very few tourists have ever visited this high & mysterious valley, which was an important trade link with Tibet. In the early days, we travel the Around Manaslu Trek or the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Tsum Valley lies in the northern part of Manaslu & used to be a restricted area until 2008. The region has never been more prominent compared to other tourist destinations, with fewer roads & fewer stripes compared to the more popular regions. The people of Tsum have their own way of family life, which is very strange to many outsiders. All the brothers in the family are married to one girl, whom you can call polyandry. The first & last stop is Arughat, a seven-hour drive from Kathmandu. The first part of the trip takes the Buddha Gandaki Valley on beautiful roads with a mixture of dense jungle, lush fields, & rolling hills. As we leave the Manaslu highway to the village of Tsum, we suddenly feel the urge to actually enter the hidden village. Along the way, we pass through mountain forests, cold rivers, & enjoy the warm hospitality of the people. Pass through the lower districts of Buri Gandaki Liding, Machhakhola, Jagat & Pilim. We also visit Gombas in the ancient region such as Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa, Dephyudonma Gompa.
